Endowment FundS

An endowment fund is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. Endowment funds offer donors the opportunity to establish a legacy by providing a gift to CDS that will keep on giving well into the future. Community Day School serves a vital role in the Pittsburgh Jewish community, and gifts in perpetuity ensure we will always be here.

Centennial Fund for a Jewish Future

Research shows that the more years young Jews spend in quality Jewish educational settings, day schools in particular, the more likely it is that they will identify as Jews and raise Jewish families. The Centennial Fund for a Jewish Future through the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh allows donors to make a gift that will strengthen our Jewish community today and for the future.

Grandparent Endowment

Our Grandparent Endowment gives every CDS grandparent the ability to participate in endowed giving. Make a gift in honor of a special grandchild, or in honor of every CDS grandchild. There is no minimum gift required.

For more information on contributing to one of these endowment funds, or establishing a new one, please contact Jenny Jones, Director of Institutional Advancement, at 412-521-1100, Ext. 3207.

I am glad and honored to be entrusted with helping to raise money for the school knowing that the funds raised will have a positive impact on children's lives for generations to come and the strength and vibrancy of Pittsburgh's Jewish community.

- Ken Levin, CDS Parent, Vice President of the Board of Trustees, and Institutional Advancement Chair
