Archery at CDS

Community Day School is a participant in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), allowing students in Grades 4-8 to experience the sport of archery in their gym classes, through our IGNITE experiential learning program, and in Middle School Exploratory classes.

The mentally and physically challenging sport of archery helps to develop character and self-reliance. It also improves student motivation, attention, behavior, attendance, and listening and observation skills. In addition, archery has deep and ancient Jewish connections that our students explore.
