We continue learning strategies and moves beyond the beginner level. This club is for those who have a good grounding in chess—perfect for those who started last year and want to continue learning more advanced moves, or for those who have a solid chess understanding and want to learn more. The class will be given again by Ashley Priore. Ashley is a rated and awarded chess player under the U.S. Chess Federation. She has played in various chess competitions across the Pittsburgh area and is on lists for the top players in the city and state. Her mission is to teach chess to the community, so every student has the knowledge and tools to triumph through her newly organized nonprofit organization, The Queen’s Gambit Chess Institute. A competition with other schools is planned for the end of the year.
Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 15
